About
Leslie Cook, CPNP was born and raised in Memphis, Tennessee and lived the last 15 years in Nashville, Tennessee. She was a school teacher for three years until she decided to pursue a career in medicine. Leslie graduated nursing school in 2007 from Austin Peay State University and worked the next six years in the newborn nursery at a small community hospital in Springfield, Tennessee. She then worked for a year in the newborn intensive care unit at Vanderbilt University Children’s Hospital in Nashville, Tennessee. Leslie graduated with her Master of Science in Nursing from the University of South Alabama in December 2012 specializing in pediatrics and is board certified through the Pediatric Nurse Certification Board. She worked for almost two years as a civilian provider at Blanchfield Army Community Hospital on the Fort Campbell Army Post in Fort Campbell, Kentucky before joining the Physician’s Network at Slidell Memorial Hospital in August 2016.
